Policy brief: Challenges for leaving no one behind in green transition – case of Croatia

This policy brief, by Sabina Hodžić, Marinela Krstinić Nižić, Zvonimira Šverko Grdić and Tanja Fatur Šikić of FTHM, addresses the local challenges of Just Transition in two counties in Croatia and suggests ways to overcome them, based on the responses of participants in a regional dialogue involving various European stakeholders. This policy brief was produced as part of the BOLSTER project.

The BOLSTER project is a Horizon Europe funded project that focuses on understanding how marginalised communities are affected by European Green Deal (EGD)-related policies and to see whether involving them in decision-making processes increases the support for transition plans. The project, in which Bankwatch is a partner, is coordinated by Tilburg University and started in September 2022. Find more about the project here.
